Laurie Weiss

Laurie Weiss is a part-time instructor in the Landscape Horticulture Program at Milwaukee Area Technical College - Mequon Campus, where she teaches classes on Soils, Greenhouse Production, annual & perennial plants, shrubs & trees, turfgrass and other topics. Laurie has been helped launch the MATC Seed Library, with the mission to grow more food and more gardeners by distributing free seeds and teaching seed saving. With a Bachelorís Degree in Botany and a Masterís Degree in Horticulture from UW Madison, Laurie loves to combine botanical, historical, and human uses of plants, and loves to share her passion for plants and gardening.
